The snapshot shows 115 reposts, 30 quotes, 18 replies and 513 likes.

A louder post the same hour, from @RippleXity, said the tokenised value had exploded more than 6,000 percent and did not include the dollar figure.

Why it matters

Forty-eight million dollars is a knowable size. Six thousand percent is what you get when the starting number is small. Leading with the percentage is how a pilot is made to look like a market.

Tokenised value on a ledger is a reported figure from a data site. It is not assets under management of the manager, and it is not a statement that the legal claim lives on the ledger.

If you are comparing venues, ask what the token is a claim on, who the transfer agent is, and whether the $48 million is one fund or a sum of tokens. The post does not say.
