Identity
KYC is a person. KYB is a business.
The customer being a company changes the evidence. You need ownership, control, and a way to notice when those change. You do not need the passport scan on a public chain.
What changes
A person has a name and a document. A business has people behind it, a register, and a fact that goes stale. Beneficial ownership is the question of who ultimately owns or controls it. Reusable credentials can carry a result. They should not carry the whole file onto a chain anyone can read.
