Blockchain is a perfect fit for cloud computing and we are building out a practice to create blockchain-based systems for our clients. We are looking for a seasoned technical blockchain expert to help us build out and grow our blockchain solutions practice.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will be the tip of the sphere, to help develop CTP’s blockchain strategy

Produce thought leadership and be involved in both writing/speaking engagements

Be a blockchain evangelist while maintaining hands-on experience to effectively execute POC’s/lead technical teams

Develop or modernize software products or applications on public and private clouds

Automate and manage environments like development, testing, staging and production

Provide technical expertise across all areas of the build, release and operations

Mentor and execute in Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

2+ years hands-on experience with blockchain technology or related cryptographic research

10+ years’ experience with distributed systems design and Java implementation

Experience in JAVA, Hibernate, Spring, and Web Services including REST

Experience designing, architecting, implementing and operations on one or more cloud computing platforms (ex: AWS, Azure, Google)

Experience with configuration management automation tools

Experience setting up Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment

Must have the ability to travel and work onsite at client locations (typically 50%)

Published Blockchain-related research

Published cryptography research

Experience modifying and extending the Bitcoin core or related codebase

Expertise in cryptography, especially the mathematics behind cryptocurrency

Experience in banking and financial transactions

Site reliability engineering and/or related work including service performance

Experience with Ethereum, Hyperledger, R3 or other initiatives/frameworks

1. What we are doing:

We are building an open-source, self-sovereign, global identity network on a high speed, privacy enhancing, distributed permissioned public ledger.

2. We are looking for sharp developers with:

Expert level proficiency with Python or Scala

Knowledge of LevelDb and / or OrientDB

Knowledge of JavaScript, Angular.js and React.js is a plus

Bring in their software development experience and specific skill of Blockchain to develop Proofs of Concept at the Centre of Excellence (CoE).

Explore a variety of Blockchain frameworks (Multichain, Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, R3 Corda) and develop use cases on these frameworks.

Have a clear understanding of Blockchain frameworks and develop solutions that can be deployed Enterprise wide.

Develop API’s that can engage with Blockchain framework and work closely with IT teams to integrate Blockchain solutions to Enterprise systems.

Interact with different Business Lines and understand their requirement, to evaluate suitability for PoC’s and Solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience with multiple programming languages and MEAN Stack

1-2 years Experience with Blockchain development in any of frameworks.

Development Experience in the UI frameworks.

Exposure to Agile methodologies

Exposure to Software Deployment Frameworks such as Docker

Ability to work with design thinking techniques and in iterative sprints

Behavioral attitude, that is collaborative

Additional Qualifications:

Articulation skills are paramount in this role.

Knowledge of PKI and multi-factor access control

Experience in developing enterprise software applications and platforms using Blockchain technologies

Knowledge of design and implementation distributed software systems

Experience in developing with public Cloud (IBM Bluemix, Microsoft Azure or AWS)

Ability to work across peer groups to develop Blockchain solutions for the business

Excellent oral and written communication skills
